PHOTOGRAPHY BY JOEL PERLISH & JACKIE ROBINSON
Cardinal O'Hara Seniors presented the Music of Godspell. Graduating seniors performed the songs from the musical, Godspell. The show was cancelled during the pandemic after the students had spent countless hours rehearsing. In this special show, the students performed the songs they grew to love before a live audience. Scroll down to learn more about the cast.

Cardinal O'Hara Performers
Abby Griswold is a senior at Cardinal O'Hara High School. She has been performing in theater since the third grade in both plays and musicals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, reading, and anxiously awaiting graduation. She is so excited to be a part of Godspell (it's always been a dream musical for her to perform in!) and to have one more chance on stage with her best friends. She extends a huge thank you to Mr. Kelly and the Kelly Center for giving their production a home, and to all of the support from their parents who have worked equally as hard to make this happen.
Andrew McCarthy is a senior at Cardinal O’Hara High School and has been involved with many musical productions, his favorite being Newsies. He enjoys listening to music in his free time.
Anne Brown, Cardinal O’Hara High School senior, has been in every O'Hara show since her freshman year. She also enjoys playing the piano and ukulele, and running track with her siblings. Anne would like to thank all those who have made this dream of performing Godspell come true, including Mr. Kelly and all those at the Kelly Center.
Anthony Franco is a senior at Cardinal O’Hara High School. This is his first year doing show, participating in both Newsies and Camp Rock. He likes to spend his time working and playing random sports throughout the year. He is also freshly baptized as of April 16th.
Chris Crognale is a senior at Cardinal O'Hara High School but he does not have much theater experience, since he has only been involved in two O'Hara shows up to this point. He was asked to be in O'Hara's Newsies and enjoyed it so much that he auditioned for O'Hara's Camp Rock. Outside of the theater, Chris can be found making your ice cream at the Springfield Dairy Queen or delivering your pizza from Toscana. He is very appreciative of Mr. Kelly and the Kelly Center's generosity in support of this production of Godspell!
Grace Curry is a senior at Cardinal O'Hara High School, and she's ready to rock the stage and give her everything! When not on stage, Grace can be found listening to Harry Styles and playing with her dog, Tess. Grace is attending DeSales University this fall, and is majoring in Musical Theater. She would like to thank her family, friends, and most of all, her Godspell castmates for their support.
Haley Garecht is a senior at Cardinal O’Hara High School. She has been doing local theater since she was 3, at both school and Wolf Performing Arts Center. When she isn’t onstage, you can find Haley playing Taylor Swift on guitar or practicing volleyball with her sister. She would like to thank Mr. Kelly and the Kelly Center for their generous support of Godspell, and her mom for generously offering their home for many loud rehearsals (with snacks!) She would also like to wish Ryan luck on following her in the role of Jesus, which she played at summer camp in 6th grade.
Jacob Babcock is a senior at Cardinal O'Hara and has been in the productions of Mamma Mia, The Little Mermaid, Back to the '80s, The Music Man, Newsies, and Camp Rock. He enjoys playing the piano and making music with his friends and colleagues. He thinks Godspell is a pretty good show but is the second-best Christ-based production, being topped by Jesus Christ Superstar of course.
Keira Bauer is an 18-year-old senior at Cardinal O’Hara High School. She is currently involved in theater, choir, and numerous community service organizations, as well as being a member of the varsity golf team. When she was cast in School House Rock in 6th grade, she fell in love with performing and has since performed in shows at Sacred Heart School, Cardinal O’Hara, Upper Darby Summer Stage, and the Kelly Center! She is also a cantor at Sacred Heart and regularly sings at weddings and funerals. In her free time, she loves to play ukulele, piano, and guitar. Next year, she will be attending Catholic University studying both Musical Theater and Psychology. Keira extends her gratitude to Mr. Kelly and the Kelly Center for making her dreams of performing come true. She also wants to thanks her friends, and family, especially her mom, for their endless support and love.
Nicholas Smith is a senior at Cardinal O'hara High School. He has been doing theater since his freshman year and he has done all of O'Hara's theater productions, including Newsies where he played the character Snyder. He would like to thank the Kelly Center for their support of Godspell and would like to thank all his fellow seniors for their dedication to the performing arts.
Ryan Garvey is a senior at Cardinal O’Hara High School. He has done musical theater since he was in first grade at Catholic Community Choir, and did every show at O’Hara. Ryan loves golfing and long walks on the beach. He wants to thank Mr. Kelly for his generosity and Haley for her experienced guidance on playing the role of Jesus.
Sadie Boyle is a senior at Cardinal O'Hara. She's participated in all but one of the shows there and has been doing school shows since grade school. She also participates in shows at Upper Darby Summer Stage. Outside of theater she does art and spends time with her dogs, Lucy and Snoopy.
