FUN JAM AT MERWOOD - AUG 27, 2023
Kelly Music for Life wrapped up its Summer Fun Jam schedule with a bang on Saturday August 27th in Merwood Park, Havertown. Food trucks, a 20 foot inflatable double slide and a stage full of performers highlighted a pre Labor Day sendoff to the Summer of 2022. Admission was FREE and family friendly.
Summer Fun Jam was a fundraiser to support the non-profit Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community in Havertown. https://kellycenter.org/ which is home to the New Avenue Café, providing work and education opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Summer Fun Jam featured one of the tri-state region’s top party bands, DEL’S GROOVE. Since 2005 Del’s Groove has played festivals, parties, receptions, reunions and has kept audiences singing and dancing all night long! Sharing the stage is Power Pop favorite SOMERDALE and rising singer songwriters PEEKS!, AVA PASTORE, KATHERINE DALY and ANNABELLE SOLEY.
DEL'S GROOVE - Del’s Groove is the area's hottest Party Band. Established in 2005 and made up of members from several of the area’s most popular bands at the time—Rhythm & Bluefish, The Finest, The Coupe, and Johnny O’. Members of Del’s Groove have performed for and shared the stage with many national acts including, Vince Neal (Motley Crew), Sister Sledge, and Tom Jones to name a few. Today Del’s Groove is in high demand as the tri-state area’s best party band for private events and weddings. PEEKS! is a Multidimensional singer/songwriter from Havertown. She takes inspiration from soul, pop, and country artists. She has a passion for storytelling and aims to write music that makes an audience feel and captures key moments in our lives that everyone can relate to.

AVA PASTORE is a 16 year old sophomore at Haverford High School. She is a singer/songwriter who picked up the ukelele during the pandemic and recently competed in the STAR competition at the Kelly Center.
ANNABELLE SOLEY is a singer/songwriter who attends Haverford Middle School and is a member for the HMS Music Club. She has performed on the Kelly Center stage solo and in groups. https://www.instagram.com/sweetpeasoley/
KATHERINE DALY started writing music in middle school and more seriously in the last two years. Her music is inspired by her observations of the world around her. She hopes to continue developing her craft and enjoying the process.
